Stars Bursting is a close up of a hollyhock flower. Hollyhock flowers are old fashioned country flowers that our grandmothers might have and did grow many years ago. This one was shot from my garden in Iowa. Hollyhocks grow tall with many blooms on them. I have had some hollyhocks over 8 feet tall in my garden. They look beautiful against a barn or by a house. I can remember my Nana having them at her cottage in front of her kitchen window.
